Our Business & Philosophy
Are you owned by a larger food corporation? No. We are 100% family-owned and operated. We aren’t a faceless brand owned by a parent company; we are a small team that lives, works, and trains right here in St. John’s, NL. When you buy our bars, your money stays in the Canadian economy.
How are your bars different from the "big brands"? Most top-selling snack bars are highly processed products made by large international corporations. They often contain long lists of additives, fillers, and "mystery" ingredients. We do things differently:

Is this a "Protein Bar"? No. Most protein bars rely on highly processed powders and sweeteners to hit specific "stats." We are a Whole Food Snack Bar designed for the entire family. We focus on clean energy from real ingredients, though we are currently developing a "Protein+" bar that meets our strict "no-shortcuts" standards.
Ingredients & Nutrition
If you don’t add sugar, what makes the bars sweet? Nature does the work. We use dates as our primary sweetener and binder. Unlike other bars that rely on syrups or artificial sweeteners, dates provide a natural, caramel-like sweetness along with high fiber.
Why do you use dates instead of other binders? Most bars use a range of emulsifiers, syrups, and gums to hold things together. Dates are a nutritional powerhouse that provide the perfect texture naturally. This allows us to keep our ingredient list short and recognizable—which is why we put the ingredients right on the front of our packs.
Are your bars "Zero Sugar" or Keto? No. Our bars contain natural sugars from whole-food sources like dates and oats. We don't use the sugar alcohols or chemistry found in "Keto" products; we provide clean, high-fiber energy without the sugar crash.
Are your bars Gluten-Free and Plant-Based? Yes. Our bars are 100% plant-based and made with gluten-free ingredients. They are a clean, reliable snack for vegans and those avoiding gluten.
What is the shelf life? Our bars are shelf-stable for one year from the date of production. You’ll find a "Best Before" date on every wrapper.
Sourcing & Supply Chain
Do you import your ingredients? We do not personally import any ingredients. We source directly from Canadian farmers whenever possible and work exclusively with trusted Canadian partners for ingredients not grown in our climate (like coconut).
Is your packaging Canadian, too? Yes. To support our local economy and reduce our footprint, our bar wrappers and cartons are both designed and printed right here in Canada.
Shipping & Subscriptions
Where do you ship? We ship to any valid address across Canada via UPS, Purolator, or Canada Post.
How much is shipping? We offer Free Shipping on all orders over $70.
Do you offer a subscription? Yes! You can choose delivery every 1, 2, or 3 months and save 15% on every free shipping bundle. It’s the easiest way to ensure your pantry is always stocked with clean fuel.
